"Shoot straight, stay calm. Here we go!" Summit has debuted the second trailer for Gavin Hood's Ender's Game movie, adapted from the popular sci-fi novel, starring Asa Butterfield as Ender Wiggin, a young commander in training at Battle School. After previewing footage at Comic-Con that impressed everyone in Hall H, they're finally giving the public a look at some of the finished VFX plus more of the story in this trailer and it looks damn good. The complete cast includes Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Hailee Steinfeld & Moises Arias from Kings of Summer. This is still one of my most anticipated this fall.

70 years after a horrific alien war, an unusually gifted child is sent to an advanced military school in space to prepare for a future invasion. Ender's Game, based on Orson Scott Card's beloved 1985 novel of the same name, is written & directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition, X-Men Origins) produced by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci of K/O Paper Products. Asa Butterfield stars as Ender Wiggin, with Harrison Ford as Colonel Graff, plus Nonso Anozie, Moises Arias, Ben Kingsley, Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin and Viola Davis. Summit will be releasing Ender's Game in theaters everywhere November 1st later this year.

Usually I'm not one to get bent out of shape over spoilers, but for those who haven't read the book, probably shouldn't watch this trailer.

Had to watch it a few times, still don't see why this is so spoilerish? I've read the book so I know how it goes... I have to agree to Gavin in that interview, if you haven't read the book or got spoiled somewhere else, you dont get spoiled from the trailer (at least more than from trailers in genaral these days)

This looks like... exactly what I'd expect from the director of X-Men Origins: Wolverine...

Visually impressive but totally devoid of character, emotion and weight. I really don't want to see this.

Ill see it because i loved the book but nothing from the trailers has impressed me too much. In this trailer they give way too much away.

Book is awsome, movie seems mediacore, with decent effects

I just can't get excited about watching a couple of 12 year olds save the world. I'd rather watch Ford and Kingsley fight aliens.

But you see, they are fighting aliens..they are manipulating a little kid with stories of heroism and messianic complex to do so...haven't read any of the books...

This looks EXACTLY like the book. Personally, I think the entire Speaker series is overrated.

Who am I kidding. I'd pay to watch Harrison & Ben stare at a wall.

He's been doing that for years, sadly.

It's a shame that Card will make so much money from this. The movie will likely do well, if not great, but he's such a homophobic douchebag that I wonder if anyone starring in the film did any research before signing on. Besides looking at their paycheck.

Must watch?

Looks lifeless and stupid; just another pointless movie about fighting that will rely on CGI to dazzle the lowest common denominator.

will watch. It's nothing special, of course, but, it's still entertaining. Sure, it's devoid of many important ingredients (such as character developing, story with some point, etc.), but that's most movies since 1990s...

I'm torn, honestly. I loved the book as a kid. And I always vowed I'd see the movie growing up. The trailers look pretty cool, but still meh, and then there's the whole homophobic author behind it. Way to ruin my childhood Card. My brother is gay and it really sucks that you are so ignorant as to what the word gay is and means. It's more than just a sexual "preference".
