Skip This: Final Trailer for Alfonso Cuarón's Stellar 'Gravity' Arrives

Life in space is impossible. So, why "skip this" trailer? Because no one needs to watch another trailer or any more footage for this extraordinary sci-fi movie - it's best seen fresh without knowing that much going in. By now, with the first teaser trailer and the three extended trailers we've all seen enough of this movie. I can tell you (having seen it myself) that it's spectacular, groundbreaking and incredible in every way and worth every penny to see in theaters. However, here's one more trailer. Warner Bros has debuted one final "main" trailer for Alfonso Cuarón's Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as NASA astronauts caught in an epic space catastrophe. This movie lives up to the hype and then some, don't worry about that.

Dr. Stone (Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they've lost any link to Earth… and any chance for rescue.

Gravity is directed by visionary Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, of Great Expectations, Y Tu Mamá También, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Children of Men previously. The screenplay was written by Alfonso Cuarón and his son Jonás Cuarón. Warner Bros delayed Gravity from its initial release in 2012 and now has it scheduled to hit theaters in IMAX and 3D on October 4th this fall. Read Alex's review.

i know i shouldn't have watched this...but I just did haha. Utterly mind-blowing. IF you're already sold on the movie then skip it.

I don't ever think I've seen a "skip this" on FirstShowing! I'd like to see more of these, especially for trailers that look like they're for terrible movies. It would show that the site acknowledges that the trailer was released, but isn't a fan. Kind of let's us know what your tastes are like. I might be over analyzing this.

I know what you mean. tho I feel like in this case his meaning was since we've probably already seen enough trailers for this already, skip it because it's either pointless, or reveal more of a movie that we should just go see regardless. The site gave it a full 10 if i recall. =) i'm thoroughly excited for this.

This is ridiculous... I'll see this film, but the sequence of events is beyond credulity. This is the space equivalent of a film where a character: 1. survives a plane crash, then 2. escapes a forest fire, only to be threatened by a 3. a tornado, followed by 4. an earthquake, and finally 5. a tsunami strikes. All in one film.

hmmm...some pretty nice visuals and effects....but it does not really make me want to jump out and see the movie. The Prometheus trailer on the other hand....but we all know how that ended up

I love syfy films but for some reason, I'm just not sold on this movie yet. Yes, the visual effects and CGI look impressive (as they did in Elysium) but I don't know, there's something about this movie that makes it seem like there's not enough to do a whole story on. Most people are looking forward to seeing the shuttle get destroyed and the two astronauts stuck in space but how long is that going to last and how long is the film going to take to lead up to those scenes? And unless another shuttle picks them up, then we all know they WILL die in space. And is it just me, or is anyone else already annoyed/irritated (just in the trailer; imagine the whole film) with Ballock's continuous whining, helpless panting, and disorientated dialogue? I wanna like this movie; I wanna see it possibly; but I'm just not sold on it yet....
