After making a big splash at the 2015 Sundance film Festival at the beginning of the year, landing some big prizes at the indie showcase, the touching sensation Me and Earl and the Dying Girl is coming to theaters this summer, and the first trailer has just arrived. This film was one of our favorites at Sundance in January, and Alex said, "theperformances from the two leads are exceptional and the story pulls viewers in with genuine humor and heart." The story follows a friendship that blossoms between an awkward boy and a girl with cancer, but it's not just another Fault in Our Stars. This one is very special in its own way. Watch!

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl is directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (The Town That Dreaded Sundown) and written be Jesse Andrews, based on his own book of the same name. The story follows Greg (Thomas Mann), a high school senior who is trying to blend in anonymously, avoiding deeper relationships which includes seeing his constant companion Earl (RJ Cyler), with whom he makes short film parodies of classic movies, as more of a "co-worker" than a best friend. But when Greg’s mom (Connie Britton) insists he spend time with Rachel (Olivia Cooke) – a girl in his class who has just been diagnosed with cancer - he slowly discovers how worthwhile friendship can be. Fox Searchlight releases the film this summer on June 12th.

Should be good. The kid looks weird as he is transitioning to adulthood.

yeah, it sucks. Not the movie, but the girl's destiny. Other than that, it looks ok and, on the end, it's gonna be sad ...
