Creed Movie Trailer

"Every punch I've ever thrown has been on my own." Warner Bros has debuted the first must see trailer for Ryan Coogler's Creed, a follow-up to the Rocky movies starring Sylvester Stallone as Rocky. He appears in the film since he fought Apollo Creed throughout so many of the original films. Creed's son decides to go all the way in boxing, and asks for Rocky to train him. Michael B. Jordan stars in a once-in-a-lifetime performance as Adonis Creed, also including Sly Stallone, Graham McTavish, Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad. I think this looks phenomenal, one of my most anticipated movies coming up this fall. I'm a huge fan of Ryan Coogler and it looks like he's really making an unforgettable film. Take a look below!

Here's the first official trailer for Ryan Coogler's Creed, direct from Warner Bros' YouTube:

Creed is directed by Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station) from a script he co-wrote with Aaron Covington. Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) never knew his father, world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who died before he was born. But boxing is in his blood, so he tracks Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) down and asks him to be his trainer, despite his insistence that he is out of the fight game for good. With Rocky in his corner, it isn’t long before Adonis gets his own shot at the title. But can he develop not only the drive but also the heart of a true fighter? Warner Bros & MGM release the film at Thanksgiving on November 25th. Your legacy is more than a name. For more updates on Ryan Coogler's Creed, follow them @creedmovie.

Some excellent moments in this but overall I'm worried this will have any heart. Also I can't get over that Michael has grown so much, I keep screaming The Wire! My fav shot was the final shot, reminded me of Furiosa screaming lol.

I kind of love that Coogler is making this his "sophomore effort". This one should be good.~

This is close to looking like a parody, it's like every boxing movie cliche is on point.

Maybe so, but that works for most of the movies today ... Which is, I guess, a problem in its own right ...

Loved the Rocky movies and this looks amazing. Jordan looks like he is taking it all the way. I was not expecting that at all. Looking forward to seeing this one for sure.

This looks like really good stuff happening here, Rocky becoming mick in a way is smart. I bet it's the surprise hit of the year. No doubt.

I appreciate an irony in this for Rocky which could make me watch this ... At least ...

I can't tell you how much I loved this trailer. It didn't throw ROCKY in your face. It was subtle. And I can care less about ROCKY but the fact that Michael B Jordan is working this, I can't wait. Dude has talent. From FNL to Fruitvale Station.

I agree, love all his films...plus FNL is still one of he best shows ever created. I hope F4 doesn't fail, I think it's brilliant to cast him as Torch.

Doesn't look bad, but is it me, or is Rocky enunciating a bit better than he used to?
