Watch: 'Begin Again' with Keira Knightly & Mark Ruffalo in First Trailer

This year we'll see Mark Ruffalo give an award worthy performance in the Sundance hit Infinitely Polar Bear, and maybe another in Foxcatcher this fall, but the star of The Avengers also has another low profile release coming this year from Once director John Carney. The film is titled Begin Again, and it also features Keira Knightley in the music-fueled drama about a couple of lost souls who meet, and end up making some incredible tunes together. Since Carney made big waves with Once, also driven by the beautiful soundtrack, this film sounds like it could also make a splash as well. It looks pretty charming. Watch below!

Begin Again is written and directed by John Carney (Once). Gretta (Keira Knightley) and her long-time boyfriend Dave (Adam Levine) are college sweethearts and songwriting partners who come to New York when he lands a deal with a major label. His new-found fame soon tempts Dave to stray, leaving a reeling, lovelorn Gretta on her own. Her world takes a turn for the better when Dan (Mark Ruffalo), a disgraced record-label exec, stumbles upon her performance in the East Village and is immediately captivated by her raw talent. The Weinstein Company sends the film to limited theaters this summer on July 4th. See it?
