Jinn Horror Trailer

"Some people believe if you talk about the Jinn, they will come to you." A full trailer has debuted for an indie horror called Jinn, from filmmaker Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad, based on the ancient Arabian folklore that revolves around the spiritual battle between good and evil. The cast includes Ray Park as Gabriel, Serinda Swan as Jasmine, plus Faran Tahir, William Atherton and Dominic Rains as a group of brave souls who are tasked with saving the world when an evil fire demon awakes from its slumber. This looks really, really cheesy but it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. If you're into action-horror, give this a look.

Here's the first official trailer for Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad's horror Jinn, originally from Yahoo:

In the beginning, three were created. Man made of clay. Angels made of light. And a third made of fire. Stories of angels and men have captured the imagination and been etched into history crossing boundaries of culture, religion and time. These two races have dominated the landscape of modern mythology, shrouding the evidence that a third was ever created. This third race, born of smokeless fire, was named the jinn. Modern man has all but forgotten this third race ever existed. It is time for him to remember…

Jinn is directed by filmmaker Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad, who started his career as a commercial storyboard artist, eventually directing commercials and music videos, as well as the feature It's a Mismatch previously. Jinn will open in limited theaters starting April 4th, 2014 later this spring. For more, visit the official site.

Looks weak and boring. CGI tricks (monster-clouds) that have been shown a hundred times, no apparent story-line other than demons and angels landing on earth and all hell breaks loose, full of cliché-images (bad creature looking down to the ground and then slowly raising his head while the camera zooms in), cliché words ("Oh my god, somethings is coming") and cliché music (bwaaaaaah.... bwaaaaaah...). Do not yet understand why this is labeled 'watch'.

Having met Ray Park twice at convention parties (very nice gent), I'm curious to see his turn in front of a camera minus prosthetics or costume.

i don't think B movies are shot in 4k, also we don't know anything about the jinn yet. I mean we were wrong about the Mandarin in Iron Man

Definitely watching this, especially since Ray Park is in it fighting some beings I've never heard off!
