Beautiful Creatures Trailer

"We make our own lives." Warner Bros has debuted a trailer for Beautiful Creatures, an adaptation of the young adult series of novels by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl, directed by Richard LaGravenese. Getting ready to (attempt to) follow in Twilight's footsteps, this supernatural drama centers on a local teenage boy, played by Alden Ehrenreich, and the mysterious new girl in town named Lena Duchannes, played by Alice Englert, who uncover dark secrets about their families. Is she a witch or what?! You'll have to watch and see. Other than that, Emma Thompson and Jeremy Irons seem outstanding, the rest is up to you.

Here's the first trailer for Richard LaGravenese's Beautiful Creatures adaptation, in high def on Apple:

Based on the first novel in the five-book Caster Chronicles series, Beautiful Creatures is written & directed by Richard LaGravenese (Living Out Loud, Freedom Writers, P.S. I Love You). Alden Ehrenreich plays Ethan, Alice Englert plays Lena, with Emmy Rossum, Jeremy Irons, Emma Thompson and Viola Davis. In the first book, Ethan meets and "becomes bewitched" by Lena, a 16-year-old whose family moves to his South Carolina town. The two confront a curse that's haunted her family for generations as she comes to grips with her own powers. Garcia & Stohl's Beautiful Creatures "is a delicious southern Gothic that charms you from the first page, drawing you into a dark world of magic and mystery." Arriving on February 13th.

Jeremy Irons is an incredible actor with an amazing voice. Emma Thompson is a British actress with a great Southern accent from what I just saw in the trailer. Viola Davis is great as well...and the trailer, for me was a pleasant surprise.

Well I wouldnt put it as low as Twilight, it doesnt look like anything groundbreaking but looks a lot better than I expected and left a lot mystery to it also. Maybe a netflix unless I hear some raving reviews.

Jeremy Irons....The Pink Panther 2,Eragon,Dungeons & Dragons, The Time Machine.....man this actor is stooping to a new low this decade adding on this film too just following in Bill Murray's slowly drowning career footsteps. I want this actor back in a real film role not a teen drama or a cheap glossy flick. Man all the old actors don't seem to know what's good for em. Just want to pay up towards that ole bed in a retirement home.

I hate movies with witchcraft or magic, and i'm not going to see this, but hollywood is getting better at adapting books into movies.

I was skeptical because of its comparison to twilight but this looks way better to start. Twilight trailer have all been so corny and odd they're almost comical. Literally when I saw the teaser to twilight in movie theaters the audience laughed aloud. This looks better. Plus at least it's not about vampires or werewolves, they've been ruined
