Monsters University Trailer

"I'm gunna wipe the floor with that little know it all…" Surprise, surprise, we've got the full trailer for you! Disney has unveiled the first full-length (UK) trailer for Pixar's Monsters University, bringing back old pals Mike and Sulley to tell their early days become friends while at college. We've already seen one teaser trailer last year, a featurette this weekend, and a few posters, now it's time to get into the meat of the story and all the characters and the campus. While there are some odd cuts, seeing this trailer reminds me again why I love Pixar so much, and why Monsters University is a must see this summer. Looks like so much fun!

Watch the brand new full UK trailer for Pixar's Monsters University, first found via HeyUGuys:

A look at the relationship between monsters Mike (voiced by Billy Crystal) and Sulley (voiced by John Goodman) during their days at the University of Fear -- when they weren't necessarily the best of friends.

Pixar's Monsters University is being directed by Dan Scanlon, who went from animator to storyboard artist to writer to co-director on Mater and the Ghostlight, making his feature directorial debut. This is a prequel to Pixar's animated movie Monsters Inc, originally released in November of 2001. Disney has Monsters University scheduled for release in Digital 3D everywhere June 21st, 2013 this summer. Visit: MU.com.

It's hard to say, 'cause I'm not sure what a vocie is... Whatever it is, I have a feeling it's completely irrelevant to this trailer.

Mike should have been covered up on the "We're Monsters Inc." billboard. I liked this trailer. Hopefully Pixar gets back in the groove...the last couple of movies have been less than stellar.

Did anyone else get a Toy Story vibe from this?

Not digging it. Probably because John Goodman and Billy Crystal are voicing college kids when they're both in their 60's.

I find it very disturbing that they choose to show only one female character when there are in fact many female monsters characters in the film. That's always been the one negative criticism towards Pixar and this unfortunately validates it. That said, I've heard amazing praise from everyone who's seen screenings of it so far.

It don't know I didn't get a feel for this one. I thought they would follow through with after the first one no a prequel.
